Leonardo DRS Airborne and Intelligence Systems needs to develop world-class, full life-cycle defense and intelligence products. This intern role will assist engineers in various assignments to contribute to this goal.
Requirements
- Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of software for the target application
- Support and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test of embedded software for real-time control of advanced radio systems
- Develop software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation
- Utilize a variety of software languages (C, C++, Java, Python, Bash) on linux and/or windows platforms
Responsibilities
- Conduct limited scope testing under the supervision of engineers
- Conduct design analysis and/or calculations under the supervision of engineers
- Assist engineers with appropriate design details
