Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is seeking a Summer Analyst to join their Information Technology team to support the company's mission to become the world's most trusted financial group by delivering superior solutions to clients and being trusted stewards of the bank's computing assets and processes.

Requirements

  • Major in Information Systems, Computer Science, Technology Management, AI, Software Engineering, Data Science, Project Management, Business Analytics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Cybersecurity Governance, Communications, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Informatics, Information Technology
  • Familiarity with process engineering, software development, enterprise information security, technology operations, operational risk management, and project management
  • Understanding of IT strategy, infrastructure, architecture, corporate systems and applications
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity threats and Identity Access Management
  • Experience with data analytics and business intelligence
  • Familiarity with cloud computing and artificial intelligence
  • Understanding of network security and computer systems

Responsibilities

  • Work on meaningful projects and team assignments to build skills and technical expertise
  • Participate in various summer program activities that offer professional development and business exposure
  • Contribute to the Enterprise Information Security team to proactively secure the firm's information assets and protect employees and customers from evolving cybersecurity threats
  • Support the development of a robust Identity Access Management environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and senior leaders firm-wide to broaden understanding of the bank and Technology functions
  • Participate in guided mentorship throughout the summer through an assigned program mentor
  • Work on team projects to deliver superior solutions to MUFG's clients

Other

  • Rising senior or first year graduate student, graduating Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Ability to work in a high-paced banking environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work remotely one day a week and on-site four days a week
