Navy Federal is looking to advance its data culture by increasing responsible, efficient, and informed use of the Enterprise Data Ecosystem through targeted programs, training, and communications.
Requirements
- A working knowledge of enterprise data roles—including analysts, engineers, and stewards—and how these roles contribute to a robust data ecosystem.
- Familiarity with tools including SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, and/or VS Code.
- Interest in responsible AI practices, model governance, or AI enablement strategies.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement, change management, or cross-functional collaboration.
- Exposure to driving capability roadmap and prioritization with business stakeholders
- Experience in the banking/financial services industry and deep understanding of industry trends, products, and services
- Exposure to working in a large-scale IT and/or financial services organization with responsibility for
Responsibilities
- Encourage an innovative mindset across the enterprise and ensure we are transforming not only technology but also the way the enterprise considers solving business challenges with technology
- Participate in solving business problems by defining robust solutions via interviewing stakeholders, identifying and evaluating alternatives with a focus on transformative capabilities, and presenting findings
- Track and manage requirements status and changes throughout project / product lifecycle via board/backlog management
- Conduct requirements analysis and validation, ensuring requirements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, verifiable, and that they conform to defined standards
- Create and communicate artifacts; translating business needs into executable requirements and acceptance criteria for delivery teams
- Stay abreast of latest FinTech and analytics capability trends and technologies
- May propose innovative solutions leveraging a combination of existing and emerging data and analytics technologies
Other
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree in in a relevant field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Strong communication skills to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable insights.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement, change management, or cross-functional collaboration.
- Anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or later
