Navy Federal Credit Union's Business Analytics & Data Science Team is looking to solve complex, high-value business problems by applying advanced data science, statistical modeling, and business intelligence to uncover insights that drive strategic marketing decisions. The goal is to translate complex data into clear, actionable intelligence to empower the Marketing team to deliver personalized, data-informed experiences, deepen member relationships, optimize campaign performance, and fuel growth across channels.
Requirements
- Experience with data extraction/wrangling
- Experience using analytic tools such as: Databricks, SQL, R, Python, PySpark, Power BI or Tableau
- Comfort working with large datasets and telling stories with data
- Strong strategic, critical, and analytical thinking skills
- Basic knowledge of marketing a plus
Responsibilities
- Analyze member data to identify opportunities to better understand and predict customer needs and behaviors
- Write and create business rules for use in machine learning models to further Member personalization
- Develop and present analytic findings to stakeholders (including senior executives)
- Assess the marketing landscape to identify best practices, shifting trends, and areas of opportunity
- Develop new marketing models to measure the influence of our campaigns on business outcomes
- Write and testing business rule indicators to power our marketing automation tools
- Developing dashboards to empower employees to do their own data discovery/exploration
Other
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree, with exposure to Marketing Analytics, Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, or other related fields.
- A passion for analytics and data-driven problem solving
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and think outside of the box
