Navy Federal Credit Union's Enterprise Platform Engineering Services (EPES) is looking to streamline and standardize operations with its anchor platforms and partners, enhancing transparency and collaboration among stakeholders. The Summer Associate will help enable new development frameworks with governance for both ETS and partner organizations, acting as a lightweight technical project manager with some hands-on development.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in programming (e.g., Java, Python, C++ or others)
- Preferred experience in data manipulation (e.g., databases, ETL tools, etc.)
- Preferred experience in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau or others)
Responsibilities
- Federated development governance model for EPES anchor platforms, to serve its customers
- Project management among governance partner initiatives, including those from partners in ETS, Security, Compliance, Risk, and the business where applicable.
- Collaboratively develop measurement tools and displays including those in PowerBI or other data visualization tools
- Collaboratively draft content for RACIs, guidebooks, playbooks, templates, MS Office documents or other assets that can be utilized by a broad team of stakeholders, developers or leaders
- Support event and broad communications management within EPES
- Support training initiatives for stakeholders and/or customers as needed
- Hands-on low code / no code development in Platforms such as Pega, MS Power Platform, and/or Service Now as applicable.
Other
- Enrolled in and successfully pursuing a bachelor degree in computer science, management information systems, artificial intelligence, business, operations or organizational management.
- Highly articulate in written, spoken and audience presentation channels/settings
- Experienced in communications with large audiences
- Preferred experience in negotiations / conflict resolution situations and or sales
- The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2026 and ending in August 2026.
