The Network Strategy & Solutions (NSS) team needs to engineer and implement flexible solutions for datacenter and campus environments, as well as edge connectivity, to enhance service offerings and document infrastructure for turnover to delivery teams. The Summer Associate program aims to provide support for these efforts and manage information systems monitoring network services.
Requirements
- Understanding of Network Engineering Principles: OSI Model
- Enterprise LAN/WAN/Data Center Topologies
- SDWAN
- Familiarity with SAN/NAS Technologies
- Familiarity with deployment lifecycles
- Operational knowledge of Cisco CLI and GUI environments
- General knowledge of routing protocols
Responsibilities
- Provide ServiceNow documentation support
- Analyze ServiceNow reports, aggregate and collect data metrics
- Maintain ticket and workflow status
- Implement improvements in ServiceNow dashboard reporting
- Identify opportunities for process efficiency or automation integration
- Perform research and analysis; may include quantitative and/or qualitative analysis
- Provide comprehensive day-to-day operational support
Other
- Assist and collaborate with various levels of staff to accomplish tasks/assignments
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions, placing member service as priority
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related degree
- Progress towards Cisco or equivalent certifications
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Gather requirements from subject matter expertise
