FNBO's Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Department in the Consumer Banking Group needs to develop and implement analytical tools to aid in day-to-day decision-making for various banking products, focusing on marketing and partnership analytics.
Requirements
- Some proficiency in SQL, with some Python experience
Responsibilities
- Data mining very large databases (tens of millions of records) primarily using SQL & Pythonand conduct data analyses to solve business problems
- Act as a junior data consultant to internal business teams and external clients by providing data-driven insights to answer relevant business questions
- Present analysis outcomes and findings to business users and management
- Work on reporting requests from business users to help them get the right data for business planning
Other
- Current student in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
- Work hours: 40 hours/week, 8am – 5pm in the office 4-5 days per week during the summer.
- It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work onsite at the posted location.
