RGA is seeking summer interns for the Global Technology department to work on impactful projects and support the company's strategic business initiatives, ultimately making financial protection accessible to all.
Requirements
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or other data or technology-related majors)
- Microsoft Office application experience (Excel, Word, Visio, Teams, SharePoint) Preferred
- Familiarity with MS Project or equivalent project management tools Preferred
- Introductory knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle Preferred
- Basic project coordination and/or project management Preferred
- Familiarity with working in a technology-centric organization Preferred
- Familiarity with the insurance industry Preferred
Responsibilities
- Creates and manages project plans, tracks project progress against milestones, captures, tracks and communicates progress reports, prepares project team meeting agendas, facilitates project discussions and produces notes.
- Performs increasingly complex analysis including gathering, formatting, and presenting financial information and other operational metrics across the department / program.
- Produces increasingly complex correspondence, collects data and produces spreadsheets, assembles data and produces reports and develops presentation materials as needed.
- Coordinates and maintains schedules for individuals and groups; plans, facilitates and oversees internal meetings and events as directed.
- Provides proactive, highly responsible and confidential support for departmental activities, divisional projects and functions as determined by leadership.
