Allegion is seeking to enhance its IoT enabled security hardware by building great software. The role will involve working with systems that span mobile, cloud, and IoT hardware, and exposing the intern to AWS/Azure infrastructure, DevOps, and other tools to build best-in-class solutions.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, and/or Electrical Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Participate in development discussions and enable implementation of solutions on real projects
- Elicit, analyze and define software requirements for software development.
- Contribute to defining interface control documents (ICDs) for next generation Allegion devices connection to Allegion’s IoT platform
- Improve software systems engineering processes at Allegion
