The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago is seeking a summer intern for their Modern Engineering department to build and enhance advanced financial applications leveraging cutting-edge technology, specifically to design, build and maintain standardized DevSecOps pipeline templates and deployment platforms.
Requirements
- Desired fields of study include; Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Operations Management, Management Information Systems, or other technical discipline
- Applicants should be enrolled at an accredited four year institution
- Should have a GPA of at least 3.0 and be in good academic standing
- Exposure to Azure DevOps platform
- Knowledge of DevOps processes and technology such as CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with GIT
- Familiarity with Sharepoint
Responsibilities
- You will be part of Modern Engineering team responsible for designing, building and maintaining standardize DevSecOps pipeline template and deployment platform
- Collaborate with development teams to help architect, configure, monitor and support the Azure DevOps platform
- Exposure to DevOps processes and technology such as CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
- Collaborate on integrating code security scans in CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate using GIT track source code changes
- Create, maintain and share technical documentations on Sharepoint.
- Troubleshooting and resolutions

- Should have a GPA of at least 3.0 and be in good academic standing
- Internships will start May 2026 through August 2026.
- Must be following an academic track in computer science, Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, Network Engineering or other technical course of study
- Must be in good academic standing
