Cerity Partners is seeking a Tax Intern to join their tax team and be a part of their 2026 Summer Internship Experience, providing a hands-on, career-related experience for college students.
Requirements
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Applications
- Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or related business degree
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local individual and business income tax returns
- Create workpapers that effectively tell the story of how projects were prepared
- Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues
- Shadow and participate in various types of client presentations
- Shadow and assist Financial Advisors with preparation of financial documents and performance reports
- Work with a team virtually to create a financial planning project or other projects
- Other duties as assigned
Other
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA
- Actively participating in campus organizations, preferably within a leadership role, and/or professional work experience
- Strong collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills
- Keen, consistent attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
