The Quality team at Zebra is responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming and outgoing products and customer satisfaction within a specific site or geography. This role will oversee a team to achieve these objectives.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 2015 standards and guidelines
- Knowledge of quality and statistical analysis tools and methodologies
- ISO 9001, Lead Auditor certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experince with PowerBI
- Intermediate level skills in MS Office and ERP systems
Responsibilities
- Develops, implements and maintains technical quality assurance and control systems and activities
- Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of products
- Participates in the reviewing of engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and considerations
- Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data
- Establish, maintain and distribute quality metrics
- Provide leadership for continuous improvement initiatives
Other
- Oversees the work of a small team of individuals often in a single site or geography
- Selects, trains, coaches and manages the performance and development of the team
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
- Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent supervisory experience in a related industry
- 6+ years experience in Quality discipline including minimum 1 year as team lead / supervisor
