3M Company is looking to solve the problem of leading, mentoring, and managing multiple development teams to ensure high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement in their technical product development.
Requirements
- Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or VersionOne
- Certification as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Seven years of work experience in a role on a software development team
- Three years of experience in a managerial or leadership role overseeing software development teams
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage multiple development teams to ensure high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Coordinate with project managers, product owners, and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines
- Maintain clear and effective communication channels between onshore and offshore teams, facilitating regular meetings, status updates, and feedback sessions
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Must be eligible to work in the US and sign an employee agreement as a condition of employment with 3M
- Must comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards
- Must contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture
- May be eligible for telecommuting up to two days per week from within commuting distance of St. Paul office
