Ford Motor Company is seeking a leader to ensure supplier readiness and drive operational excellence in their global supply chain.
Requirements
- Functional understanding of overall Material Planning & Logistics business practices and supporting systems
- Operational experience with Ford Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system CMMS (Common Material Management System)
- Proven ability to lead data-driven transformation, by synthesizing complex data from cross-functional systems
- Knowledge of lean initiatives including value stream mapping, workflow audits, and process reengineering
- Experience with Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) guidelines and standards
- Understanding of MMOG/LE 4th Edition compliance process
- Experience with material handling labor methods and performance benchmarks
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end supplier launch readiness for upcoming vehicle programs
- Drive the successful deployment and execution of the Materials Management Operations Guidelines (MMOG/LE) 4th Edition compliance process
- Develop and implement innovative material flow and logistics strategies
- Oversee and manage a team of Supplier readiness supervisors and Industrial Engineers
- Establish and strengthen forward model launch delivery ensuring End-to-End (E2E) supplier readiness capabilities
- Lead the development and deployment of standardized material handling labor methods and performance benchmarks
- Review and resolve high-impact operational bottlenecks
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience in supply chain operations
- Proven track record of successfully leading and transforming supply chain space
- Leadership experience, including team management and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
