Anderson Power Products is looking to improve the quality performance of its global supply base by monitoring, auditing, and improving supplier quality, which is crucial for the company's success in the power electronics industry.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and supplier audit processes (ISO 19011 knowledge a plus)
- Experience with PPAP, APQP, FMEA, control plans, MSA, and 8D methodology
- Experienced in plastic molding, stamping, forging, and machining processes
- Six Sigma certification or Lean manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as CBAM, RoHS, or REACH
- Proficiency with ERP systems and quality software tools
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the global supplier quality program, including SCARs, supplier scorecards, and risk evaluations
- Track and report key supplier metrics (PPM, NCRs, OTD) to sourcing and operations leadership
- Lead root cause and corrective action (RCCA) investigations for supplier-caused defects
- Plan, schedule, and conduct supplier audits globally (initial qualification, ongoing performance, and re-audits)
- Evaluate supplier processes, quality systems (ISO9001), and manufacturing capabilities
- Issue formal audit reports and follow through on corrective action plans to closure
- Support supplier readiness for CBAM, ISO, and customer-specific regulatory requirements
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, or related technical field
- 3–7 years of supplier quality or manufacturing quality experience, preferably in a multi-site or global environment
- Ability to work independently, manage cross-functional projects, and communicate effectively across cultures
- Must be willing to travel both domestic and International up to 25% of the time
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
