Curtiss-Wright EMD is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to support its Quality Team in the design and manufacture of highly engineered products, specifically to implement the quality assurance program to support design and manufacture, ensuring product standards.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering or related technical or sciences degree
- Auditing experience
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt / Green Belt certifications is desired
- Ability to read and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T - ASME Y14.5 Standard)
Responsibilities
- Lead in the translation of customer or regulatory requirements into supplier instructions
- Develop supplier oversight activities to ensure that requirements are met
- Present analysis of supplier performance data and trends
- Lead root cause analysis efforts and drive implementation of corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement within the quality management system
- Identify and resolve potential project or supplier quality issues
- Participate in the creation or maintenance of quality program manual procedures

- Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals
- Self-starter, capable of working independently to drive actions to completion
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
- Travel is expected at approximately 25%
