Edwards is looking to solve the problem of ensuring long term quality stability of direct materials from suppliers, by managing reject processes, monitoring and improving supplier quality, and driving continuous improvement in reject performance and cost of quality.
Requirements
- Knowledge in best practice tools and processes SPC, MSA, PPAP, 8D etc
- Good understanding of 6 Sigma tools and techniques

Responsibilities
- Attend daily production meetings and crisis management, minimising disruption to operations
- Working alongside Inspectors, manage end to end reject process, including physical part management, system transaction and commercial cost recovery
- Deploy six sigma tools to implement long term solutions, improve DPPM and sustain stable quality
- Identify and improve critical process capability at suppliers to ensure long term quality stability
- Roll out Edwards Quality policy and right from me mindset
- Manage supplier audit program and improvement plans
- Participate in new supplier selection process (SESPA)
Other
- Minimum 5 years experience driving quality improvements in manufacturing or engineering environment
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organisation, both internally and with suppliers
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and deliver positive change
- Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience
- Willingness to travel as when the business conditions and strategies require
