Epiroc is looking for a Quality Engineer to ensure products meet predetermined quality standards and customer specifications, by monitoring, inspecting, and evaluating products, and resolving bugs and defects.
Requirements
- Experience with ERP systems (Infor M3 preferred) and PLM systems.
- Experience with Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with machining, casting, molding, welding, or electronics depending on the industry.
- Basic innovation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic technical skills and physical understanding of product.
- Basic knowledge of software tools required to complete mission.
Responsibilities
- Reviews design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and function of products.
- Ensures products meet the organization and customers' quality and product integrity requirements.
- Supports product development or operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
- Identifies root causes of problems in the production process; recommends and/or implements corrective measures.
- Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality or defects with the goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects.
Other
- Some travel to mines, supplier locations, etc. which may include overseas travel.
- On occasion, will need to work with production personnel during assembly and testing of the rigs.

- Demonstrates ability to work professionally and collaboratively with others within the organization.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
