PALFINGER is looking to improve the quality and development of its North American suppliers for various components, ensuring alignment with the company's high standards and contributing to cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of hands-on technical experience in industrial manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge and experience with Quality Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, FMEA), auditing, root cause/corrective action, and supplier or customer interactions
- ISO 9001:2015 experience is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office
- SAP knowledge preferred
- fluency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish) is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Oversee quality and development of North American suppliers across stamped, bent, welded, machined, and painted components, including part approval and supplier audits.
- Support supplier development and provide training on PALFINGER products, processes, and procedures to ensure alignment with company standards.
- Serve as a technical resource for suppliers and PALFINGER facilities, offering guidance, troubleshooting, and product reviews.
- Monitor and resolve supplier claims (NCRs) and provide input on quality strategy to the Procurement team.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams, support cost-saving initiatives, and travel to suppliers or PALFINGER facilities as needed.
