Manage a global team of Supplier Quality Engineers, responsible for ensuring our manufacturing partners produce high quality compute, storage, and networking hardware for OCI datacenters.
Requirements
- Manage the people responsible for the development, readiness, and manufacturing performance of compute, storage, and networking hardware through the supply chain lifecycle at Oracle's manufacturing partners.
- Key activities of the team include new site qualifications and surveillance audits; monitoring and reporting quality KPIs at all manufacturing sites (customer quality, factory yields, conformance to Oracle and industry requirements, etc.), and driving corrective actions and continuous improvement of quality and capacity performance at the manufacturing sites
- Assign and monitor work of staff, providing technical support and direction.
- Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the team.
- Works collaboratively and builds reciprocal relationships with different parts of the business, partners and customers.
- Enhances Oracles competitive advantage by anticipating customer needs and applies best practices and creative solutions to drive efficiency and productivity within the team.
- Identifies and acts on opportunities for new or improved products, processes, or systems.
