Motorola Solutions is looking for an AI intern to help build and deploy AI solutions and features in a real-world environment, contributing to the entire lifecycle of AI solution development.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python is a must, with a strong understanding of libraries like Scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy.
  • Familiarity with AWS services is highly desirable. Experience with tools such as AWS Lambda, Glue, Bedrock, SageMaker, CloudWatch, or Elastic Beanstalk is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • A solid understanding of AI and Machine Learning fundamentals, including model evaluation and hyperparameter tuning.
  • Experience with Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket for version control.
  • Proficiency with SQL for data handling (Nice to Have).

Responsibilities

  • Use Python to develop, test, and deploy AI solutions and features.
  • Work with our cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services like Lambda, Glue, Bedrock, and SageMaker to build scalable and robust applications.
  • Assist in the productionalization of AI models and solutions by utilizing CI/CD pipelines, IaC principles, and Docker to ensure they are portable, scalable, and easy to manage.
  • Participate in a supportive team environment, contributing to code reviews, feature discussions, and problem-solving sessions.

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree (preferred) or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field with a graduation date no later than Dec. 2029
  • A creative problem-solver who can tackle complex and ambiguous challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical team members.
