Lowe's is looking to solve the problem of efficiently running its distribution centers and ensuring products move smoothly from suppliers to shelves, while also building a culture of safety and optimizing supply chain operations.

Requirements

  • Proficient in MS Office programs (specifically in Power Point, Excel and data analysis tools)
  • Relevant internship and experience in supply chain or logistics
  • Experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization
  • Bi-lingual helpful
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, innovative problem solving, analytical thinking, organizational and communication skills are required
  • Ability to perform detail-oriented tasks in a stressful fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with others

Responsibilities

  • Gain exposure to warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, inventory flow, and safety processes.
  • Observe and support the planning and coordination of shipments across multiple channels.
  • Learn how to interpret and act on supply chain metrics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with operations leaders on process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Understand how Lowe’s executes day-to-day logistics operations at scale.
  • Participate in cross-functional team projects focused on optimizing productivity and performance.
  • Shadow an Operations Supervisor and observe how they monitor production volume and assign tasks involving receiving, put away, picking, or shipping product.

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business or related field
  • Expected graduation dates of December 2026, May 2027, December 2027, or May 2028
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills are required
  • Ability to build strong partnerships through collaborative teamwork
