ITT is seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Intern to join their growing team in Valencia, CA, to gain real-world experience in supply chain operations within an aerospace manufacturing environment and support the development of skills in market intelligence, data analytics, and supplier management.
Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to model and interpret large datasets
- Strategic thinking and effective problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to change
- Enrollment in a strategy or market research-oriented MBA program is a plus
Responsibilities
- Quoting parts, contacting suppliers, and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Tracking spend and usage, analyzing trends, and proposing improvements
- Monitoring and driving metrics to improve supplier performance
- Identifying value creation opportunities and evaluating industry trends
- Conducting market assessments and competitor product reviews
- Supporting development of proprietary database tools
- Researching and updating supply chain databases to support quick responses to market and supply disruptions
Other
- Junior or Senior currently enrolled at an accredited college pursuing a business-related degree; Supply Chain or Data Analytics majors preferred
