RaceTrac is looking for a Supply Chain Intern to support the analysis and implementation of initiatives within the Supply Chain Distribution team, impacting the overall success of the team.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Office)
Responsibilities
- Participate on improvement projects across supply chain and distribution centers
- Participate in time and motion studies, and/or value stream mapping
- Leverage analytical skills to create reports and presentations
- Provides support during the data collection phase of a project using work measurement concepts
- Identifies future strategic opportunities / potential operational improvements with emphasis on efficiency
- Review layout, process and equipment design to ensure integration between different components and reduce lastminute conflicts.
- Helps develop alternative solutions to eliminate conflicts and reduce costs.

- Current enrollment in a college or university with a major that aligns with the department
- Previous internship experience preferred
- Carries out ad hoc project support functions as requested by the hiring manager.
- Collaborates cross-functionally on assignments with internal and external stakeholders to understand the results of data analysis and research
- Gain experience with industry strategies, methodologies, systems and processes.
