Charter Manufacturing is looking for a Supply Chain Intern to assist in problem-solving efforts to improve performance, participate in Continuous Improvement projects, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the supply chain operations.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- ERP experience.
- Purchasing experience.
- Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S tools.
Responsibilities
- Assist in problem solving efforts to improve performance.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
- Perform daily processes related to position.
- Assist in projects and function as a resource for other team members.
- Analyze data and report.
- Document and improve processes.
- Follow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management System procedures and requirements.
Other
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Ability to succeed in a team environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
