The company is seeking a Support Equipment Quality Control Specialist to ensure the quality of purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, and assemblies for Presidential Helicopter support, as well as to manage and evaluate Support Equipment (SE) throughout its lifecycle.
Requirements
- Requires an in depth knowledge of Naval Aviation Support Equipment requirements, as well as knowledge of military publications, drawings, blueprints, microfilm, diagrams and schematics.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret / Yankee White Clearance
- Supports SE technical evaluations.
- Provides support for aspects of SE including reviewing requirements; critiquing contract specifications; monitoring and evaluating the design, development, and Contractor testing of SE and participating in design reviews and qualification tests as a technical representative.
- Supports designing, coordinating, directing, conducting, and reporting the results of laboratory and field tests of SE.
- Provides technical assistance and advice to DoD and Contractor agencies/activities during engineering tests, investigations and demonstrations of new SE.
- Interpret complex data; plans work efforts; modifies methods, procedures and techniques to be used; and provides assessments of unusual conditions and variations of approach.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing inspections, tests and/or audits of purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, panel/module level assemblies and quality control programs to specifications.
- Interprets manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications and lists to approve or reject units, test setups, or systems for in process or final assemblies.
- Inspects and may perform minor rework on defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
- Maintains support documentation and performs sampling and testing of incoming components, raw materials, and build of assemblies.
- Reviews and reports performance data.
- Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company and test standards.
- Determines or assists in determining methods and procedures necessary for inspection.

- Must Be Able To Obtain a Top Secret/Yankee White Clearance
- This position is contingent upon award of the Aircraft Maintenance and Modification Services in support of Presidential Helicopter contract.
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in field related to position description.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
