RaganSmith, a Pape-Dawson company, is seeking a full-time Survey Intern to provide surveying office support and participate in field work as needed to assist clients in the development of land surveys
Requirements
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Exposure to GEOPAK, Open Roads, MicroStation, and drone flights a plus
Responsibilities
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D software to prepare boundary and topographic surveys along with subdivision plats
- Process, extract, and analyze field survey data
- Collaborate with project surveyors and project managers to create plans and survey base mapping
- Perform quality assurance and standards checks on projects
- Field work including site inspections, research, and quality assurance as needed
- Additional related duties as needed
Other
- Attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, and critical thinking skills
- 1+ years of experience with surveying or taking surveying classes
- Seeking an associate degree or higher in a survey program or equivalent
