Collins Aerospace is looking to solve complex problems in aerospace fuel pump and gearbox technology for commercial and military aircraft through the support of pump and gearbox products throughout the production process and field performance.
Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices

Responsibilities
- Creation of engineering changes (CRs) to resolve issues or drive improvements
- Perform entry-level technical analyses in support of engineering changes & investigations and/or coordinate with Design & Analysis teams for completion of more complex efforts
- Planning and tracking tasks, schedules and budgets (project management) in support of investigations or improvement efforts
- Participating in technical Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations to resolve production issues or field failures
- Preparing test procedures and reports, overseeing tests, and compiling data to provide useful information to the engineering team
- Preparing and delivering presentations to communicate with internal and external customers on technical topics
- Evaluation of non-conformances to component drawings for impacts on quality and performance

- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
- Must be available to work full-time, Monday-Friday, for the duration of the co-op session (January-August)
- Must be willing to take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity
- Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills
