Wintrust is looking to solve the problem of establishing a sound enterprise data architecture strategy aligned with business objectives, and managing a roadmap for implementation.
Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience in an architect role working on multiple, complex deployments
- Experience managing multiple projects and mentoring team members.
- Should have worked with enterprise architects, data engineers, database administrators, business analysts to determine project requirements and capabilities, and strategized development and implementation timelines
- Experience in developing standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for code reuse.
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years’ experience or Master’s degree with 8+ years’ experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or other quantitative field.
- Has experience working with data management technologies and tools
- Experience with data governance and data architecture standards
Responsibilities
- Define & maintain the enterprise data architecture strategy aligned with business objectives
- Establish data architecture principles, policies, standards, and frameworks
- Design and oversee the data architecture strategy for the organization, capturing current state data architecture and definition of target state along with roadmap for implementation
- Collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization including Data Governance, Information Security, Business leadership, and Technology Architecture teams.
- Represents data architecture and participates in Technology Architecture groups for the enterprise ensuring best-in-class implementations with an eye towards simplification and re-use.
- Provide technical oversight to Data Solution Architects in designing solutions that adhere to enterprise architecture and data governance standards.
- Evaluate and recommend data management technologies and tools
