Requirements
Strong background across modern frameworks (.NET, React, Node, Swift, Kotlin) and scalable cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
Expertise with CDNs, caching, edge security, dynamic routing, CI/CD, test automation, and SRE practices to ensure high reliability.
Skilled in designing scalable data platforms, working with enterprise databases (Oracle, DynamoDB, Snowflake, etc.), and leveraging event-driven architectures for personalization and analytics.
Deep knowledge of Scrum/Kanban with a proven ability to optimize processes, define KPIs, and improve delivery at scale.
Experience building and supporting complex, high-volume systems that deliver seamless user experiences under tight time constraints.
Demonstrated success defining and delivering technology roadmaps, managing multiple projects end-to-end, and scaling engineering organizations.
Success leading distributed, diverse teams worldwide, building collaborative, innovative, and high-performance cultures.
Responsibilities
Oversee engineering execution to ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable software products that meet productivity, growth, financial, and roadmap objectives.
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of end-to-end engineering processes, with clear KPIs to measure and drive excellence.
Define the engineering roadmap, balancing long-term vision with near-term priorities across product development, infrastructure, security, and compliance.
Partner with C-Level executives as a key operational leader, driving innovation and advancing AXS' engineering strategy.
Translate business goals into actionable engineering initiatives, ensuring technical direction is aligned with organizational priorities.
Provide clear communication and progress updates to the CTO and senior leadership.
Build and empower high-performing global teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
