AmeriHome Mortgage is looking for an SVP, Trader (Bulk Desk) to lead the team responsible for executing the firm's initiatives for the bulk acquisition channel, managing operational workflows, monitoring and reporting on day-to-day purchase activity, and trade level communication with clients.
Requirements
- Advanced in Capital Markets functions including trading, hedging, best execution calculations and margin management.
- Intermediate in VBA and/or SQL.
Responsibilities
- Manage positions including implementing pricing, disposition, and/or hedging strategies.
- Monitor market trends to incorporate into decision making.
- Prospect for new outlets and/or execution strategies.
- Work directly with Capital Market Operations teams on trade settlements.
- Work directly with Contract Finance department on any trade level documentation.
Other
- 10+ years of related experience in Residential Mortgage Lending, Capital Markets or similar field.
- Previous leadership experience required.
- Advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending including; sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
- Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
- CFA preferred.
