AmeriHome Mortgage is looking to solve the problem of executing the firm's initiatives for the bulk acquisition channel by hiring an SVP, Trader to lead the team responsible for this channel.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending including; sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
- Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Advanced in Capital Markets functions including trading, hedging, best execution calculations and margin management.
- Intermediate in VBA and/or SQL.
- CFA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage positions including implementing pricing, disposition, and/or hedging strategies. Monitor market trends to incorporate into decision making.
- Prospect for new outlets and/or execution strategies.
- Work directly with Capital Market Operations teams on trade settlements. Work directly with Contract Finance department on any trade level documentation.
- Lead and develop a team; responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, training and development.
- Represent AmeriHome positively when interacting with clients, trade counterparties and vendors.
Other
- 10+ years of related experience in Residential Mortgage Lending, Capital Markets or similar field.
- Bachelor's degree in related field required; Masters or MBA in related field preferred.
- Previous leadership experience required.
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
