Requirements
- expertise in synthetic biology, genetic circuit design, metabolic engineering, genome editing (CRISPR/Cas systems), systems biology, biomanufacturing, and computational modeling
- hands-on experience with synthetic biology techniques
- experience with lab workflows and theoretical synthetic biology questions
- knowledge of gene synthesis, chassis organism optimization, promoter and ribosome binding site tuning, pathway assembly, biosafety and ethical considerations, and emerging technologies
- peer-reviewed publications in synthetic biology or closely related life-science field
- experience working in industrial or academic bioengineering labs
- familiarity with computational modeling and simulation tools
Responsibilities
- converse with the model on lab workflows and theoretical synthetic biology questions
- verify factual accuracy and logical soundness
- capture reproducible error traces
- suggest improvements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
- challenge advanced language models on topics like gene synthesis, chassis organism optimization, promoter and ribosome binding site tuning, pathway assembly, biosafety and ethical considerations, and emerging technologies
- document every failure mode so we can harden model reasoning
- help power the next generation of AI with expertise in synthetic biology, genetic circuit design, metabolic engineering, genome editing (CRISPR/Cas systems), systems biology, biomanufacturing, and computational modeling
