Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and sustain a comprehensive research and analytics framework that evaluates the effectiveness of programs and services.
- Leads a team responsible for delivering accessible, high-quality data analysis using both quantitative and qualitative methods, including predictive modeling and survey research.
- Design and conduct rigorous research studies using appropriate methodologies to evaluate institutional initiatives, student outcomes, and organizational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support systemwide initiatives and to promote the use of modern analytics tools and surveys, fostering a culture of data literacy and evidence-informed decision-making across the system office and colleges.
- Supervise and mentor a team of research and assessment professionals, ensuring the delivery of timely, accurate, and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Monitor key trends and external factors in higher education to inform the office’s research agenda and support strategic decision-making and policy development.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that analyses and ad hoc requests are responsive, relevant, and actionable.
Other
- Master's Degree and six (6) years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Doctoral Degree or equivalent
- Statistics, data science or analytics, economics, sociology, public policy/administration, research, higher education administration, or related fields
- Supervisory experience, including mentoring and managing research or analytics professionals.
- Hybrid work schedule with a requirement to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per work week.
