Analog Devices is looking to adapt an existing product to various applications in an unrelated technical field by modifying its complex hardware/firmware/software architecture
Requirements
- Degree in EE/CS or similar
- 5-10 years of on-the-job experience
- Previous experience with optics and optical systems such as LIDAR is highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Rapidly come up to speed on an existing product with complex hardware/firmware/software architecture
- Modify existing system hardware/firmware/software configuration to adapt the existing product to a variety of applications
- Work with a team of optics, chemistry, and circuit experts to modify the existing system
- Modify existing hardware (e.g. pcb test board redesigns)
- Interpret existing firmware command set and make it more readily accessible
- Help visualize new data types live during experiments
- Manage cloud data storage and access

- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are required
- US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) are preferred due to export licensing requirements
- Required Travel: Yes, 10% of the time
