Apple is looking to design and manufacture next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processors, system-on-chip (SoC) to enable Apple products and services to seamlessly and efficiently handle tasks.
Requirements
- Experience in integrating software into version control systems, such as Git, Perforce
- Experience in DevOps and CI/CD methodologies, platforms, and tools, such as TeamCity or Jenkins
- Strong understanding of Linux environment and process model
- Strong Perl scripting abilities
- Familiar with Environment Modules system
- Familiar with software bundling architecture for cloud compute environments, such as Artifactory, GCP, Azure, AWS
- Knowledgeable in distributed remote management systems, such as LSF, SGE, or NC
Responsibilities
- Developing best in class methodologies and flows for Apple silicon development
- Collaborating with multiple design teams to identify and implement automations in internal software evaluation, management, and deployment
- Enabling the quality of the chip, increasing efficiency and QoR of CAD flows
- Crafting and building the technology that fuels Apple’s devices
- Creating new software and technologies that will enable other Apple engineers to create products for millions of customers across the world
- Implementing applications leveraging databases, such as MySQL, Redis, and PostGres
- Debugging complex compute workflows and environments
