Qualitest is seeking a System Integrator to join their team in Fremont, CA to troubleshoot, maintain, and provide technical support for capture systems during the capture process, addressing component bugs and failures to ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong skills in navigating and managing via command line, PowerShell.
- Experienced in Linux system administration and configuration.
- Experience with writing and editing JSON files.
- Effective at diagnosing and solving technical problems quickly.
- Experience in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering assembly.
- Experience troubleshooting combined software and hardware systems.
- Experience with virtual reality systems, cameras and optical systems, lighting systems, and audio systems.
- Experience in designing simple mechanical parts in CAD.
- Experience in at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript, Bash).
- Experience soldering through hole and surface mount parts.
- Experience with performance critical software systems.
Responsibilities
- Providing the Capture systems troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support for the Capture Systems during the capture process.
- Maintain and address component bugs and issues.
- Analyze frequent failures and make suggestions for how to solve these issues.
- Create lasting solutions for frequent or recurring issues.
- Assembly support for system upgrades.
- Escalate any non-standard issues to the appropriate team using an internal issue reporting tool.
- Helping to maintain system documentation.
