Booz Allen is looking for a full-stack developer to resolve problems with complete end-to-end solutions in a fast, agile environment, developing software and systems from vision to production-ready, and helping clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as an applications programmer on computer and database management systems
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering
- 2+ years of experience developing web applications using JavaScript and C
- Experience analyzing functional business requirements and design specifications for functional activities
- Experience designing and developing software solutions and utilizing databases to meet design objectives
- Experience in Java on Linux or Windows operating systems
- Experience with geolocation services, JavaScript development, and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB
Responsibilities
- Resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution
- Develop software and systems from vision to production-ready
- Learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements
- Help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies
- Help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements
- Support software design objectives by developing block diagrams, logic flowcharts, and other technical documentation
- Translate detailed designs into new software applications, as well as test, debug, and refine existing custom software
Other
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering
- Knowledge of agile software development methodologies, including Scrum
