Philips is looking for an Intern System Test Automation Engineer to gain hands-on experience in engineering for a HealthTech company, contributing to the R&D process for developing and delivering high-quality medical imaging and functional measurement products.
Requirements
- Experience with C-Sharp, C++; knowledge of scripting languages such as Python; experience using source code control tools
Responsibilities
- Develop software tools and test scripts; conduct dry runs on engineering builds to support test case development and early issue identification
- Setup test environment to support testing needs
- Assist the automation team in developing, operating, and enhancing automated software tools and hardware fixtures
- Exploring the integration of AI into automated testing and advancing automation testing through AI deployment
- Explore new opportunities for improving testing processes and methodologies
- Perform system integration and verification by following the structured test procedures and by exploratory, ad hoc testing.
- Trouble shooting the issues with Dev team.
Other
- Individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree
- At least 3 years of study towards the degree of Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or similar
- Excellent advocacy and persuasive skills & ability to maintain confidentiality & ability to assess a problem quickly and determine to what level it should be elevated
- Self-motivated, quick learner and a team player; ability to work as a part of a team as well as individually
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with persons contacted in the course of performing assigned duties including Company management and outside business associate
