CACI company is looking for a System Test Technician to test custom photonic, mechanical, and electrical hardware solutions for its production Space flight Optical Inter Satellite Link Terminals
Requirements
- Experience testing custom, complex electromechanical and optical assemblies
- Use of optical sources, power meters, and optical spectrum analyzers to test optical components
- General understanding of basic electrical and photonic principles
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions or test procedures
- Microelectronic assembly experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform optical or electrical testing and characterization as specified by work instructions
- Independently follow test procedures and record detailed test data in travelers and MES
- Document test failures in the failure reporting system
- Support the maintenance of cleanroom test equipment and tooling
- Work is typically performed in a Cleanroom environment which requires proper safety precautions
- Work on split/second shift and weekends as needed
Other
- Must be available to train on 1st shift
- Associate degree in a related technical field is desirable
- 5 years of related experience is required, or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience
- Up to 10% travel required, Continental US
- Position is for 3rd shift (Weekends Fri-Sun)
