I2X Technologies is seeking to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO, specifically in the area of Mission Defense, by analyzing real-world data and developing new algorithms to effectively utilize the data.
Requirements
- Experience using Python and MATLAB to support analysis of complex data including the use of software test and analysis tools
- Development and automation of data management processes and tools experience
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux, and continuous integration including Bash or similar scripting experience
- Experience with using and maintaining databases
- Working or theoretical knowledge of ballistic or non-ballistic missile defense concepts and systems / defense communication systems
- Strong background in math and physics including probability and statistics
- Generate detailed and repeatable tests for specific event objectives
Responsibilities
- Analyze real world data pertaining to Mission Defense
- Collect and interpret real world data
- Develop new algorithms to effectively utilize the data
- Actively update current algorithms based on new data
- Assist with planning, scheduling and development of verification analysis tools
- Coordinate, develop and maintain analysis and test tracking tools
- Ensure proper backup/archiving of test products and analysis datasets
Other
- US Citizenship is required
- Active Secret clearance
- Either a technical advanced degree and 3+ years’ experience or a technical bachelors with 5+ years’ experience or equivalent
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customer contacts and represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects
- Must possess an understanding of software development processes and principles
