Kratos Defense is seeking a Systems Analyst & Integrator - Junior Level to assist with the preparation of event documentation for the integration of tactical systems and simulations for a Government Customer’s experimental or large-scale Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) events.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding of Air and Missile Defense and/or Field Artillery tactical system operations (e.g. Air and Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS), Air Defense System Integrator (ADSI), Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS), Forward Area Air Defense (FAAD) and each system’s unique integration requirements to include configuring network interfaces, incorporating Modeling & Simulation protocols for virtual sensor inputs and tactical radio adapter connections.
  • Deep understanding of MS Office products for planning, configuration documentation, briefings and reporting.
  • Experience planning, designing, implementing and managing Link-16 networks and associated interfaces, to include VMF and JREAP protocols, between tactical systems and commercial software applications.
  • Experience with DoD Modeling & Simulation (M&S)

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Senior Systems Analyst & Integrator with the preparation of event documentation required for the integration of tactical systems and simulations for a Government Customer’s experimental or large-scale Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) events.
  • Provides input to the respective Project Leader and the Task Manager, as required, as a Kratos Defense employee supporting the Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) Design, Development, Demonstration and Integration (D3I) Domain 1 Task Order during all analysis activities for current and emerging technologies.
  • Receives input from team members and other activities within the program, to include Government Customers, ensuring successful integration of system components and operational products for a specified requirement.
  • Supports development, prototyping and demonstration at various site locations and assists with briefings on the status of particular events or portions of the overall program as requested by the Program, Task and/or Project Manager.
  • General experience integrating equipment and software for operational, testing, experimentation or demonstration purposes and with analyzing systems and technologies related to one or more of the Task Order’s Task Requirements.
  • Extensive and relevant experience managing Army and Joint programs or large scale events, to include those events that include integrating and operating government and commercial software applications for operational, testing, experimentation and/or demonstration purposes to include analyzing systems and technologies related to one or more of the Task Order’s Task Requirements relating to Advanced Fires and Air & Missile Defense Concepts.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Air and Missile Defense and/or Field Artillery tactical system operations (e.g. Air and Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS), Air Defense System Integrator (ADSI), Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS), Forward Area Air Defense (FAAD) and each system’s unique integration requirements to include configuring network interfaces, incorporating Modeling & Simulation protocols for virtual sensor inputs and tactical radio adapter connections.

Other

  • Travel is expected to be a part of this position and may include tactical field site locations.
  • Knowledge of US Army Field Artillery, Fires Systems and applications to employ offensive and defensive Fires, to include a working knowledge of US Army Fires, Joint Fires, Multi-Domain and the Targeting Cycle, is required.
  • Must be willing to create event reports and provide briefings to peers, superiors and external agencies as required.
  • Active DoD Security Clearance
  • High School diploma or GED with six (6) years relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree and four (4) years’ relevant experience or a master’s degree and (2) years’ relevant experience
