Avantor is looking to optimize its Nusil quality organization and lead a strategic initiative towards digitization.

Requirements

  • Installation, modification and minor repairs to computer hardware and software systems.
  • Analytical instrument communication, acquisition, and application (Agilent GC/GCMS/GPC/HPLC systems) preferred.
  • Quality software applications (IE: Agile, SAP QM).
  • Facilitating change activities for organizations, ensuring adoption of hardware and software systems.
  • Analyzing complicated issues, identifying relevant points, developing action plans and executing for results
  • Software maintenance and testing capability.
  • Networking principles and operating systems.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, prioritizing, facilitating, and ensuring sustainment of quality-related software and hardware.
  • Gathering data to identify and evaluate technical purchasing options.
  • Evaluating vendor-supplied software by studying user objectives and testing software compatibility with existing hardware and programs.
  • Consulting with users to determine appropriate hardware and software needs and assist in placing orders.
  • Confirming program objectives and specifications by testing new programs, comparing them with established standards, and making modifications.
  • Maximizing computer systems capabilities by studying technical applications and making recommendations.
  • Ensuring effective sustainment of results, supporting problem solving as needed to close gaps in sustaining new software and hardware installations.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/ computer engineering, or related area of study.
  • Up to 20% travel required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
  • Ability to work in a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture.
