RTX is looking for an intern to focus on systems modeling, requirements, and product specifications within their System Integration organization, Systems Controls group. The intern will contribute to the design and development of complex integrated air management systems by defining, reviewing, and refining control system requirements.
Requirements
- Experience with requirements definition and decomposition.
- Experience with Model Based Design engineering.
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, DOORS, Python, Modelica or SysML.
Responsibilities
- You will gain experience in performing analysis at all levels of the total system product including concept, design, modeling, installation, operation, and maintenance.
- You will develop advanced mathematical models or other methods of computer analysis to develop, evaluate, or modify design, according to customer engineering requirements.
- You will perform system level analyses of thermal fluid systems and prepare technical reports of findings and recommendations.
- You will gain knowledge in technical planning for system engineering.
- You will enhance your technical skills through program modeling, testing, and requirements definition.
Other
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
