Momentum Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a Data Modeling team focused on modernizing business IT systems that currently span multiple databases, user interfaces, and data formats. This role is key to the successful migration of business data from legacy systems to a new platform.
Requirements
- Experience with database design and modeling
- Experience utilizing SQL within relational database systems (e.g., Oracle, Postgres)
- Experience reverse engineering systems in both front-end and back-end capacities
- Experience with data analysis and visualization, data normalization and cleansing, and data security
- Knowledge of existing BM&A systems
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into system specifications
- Design, develop, integrate, and test systems and subsystems
- Ensure compatibility and interoperability of system components
- Oversee system configuration, documentation, and lifecycle management
- Conduct system analysis and optimization for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with software, hardware, network, and cybersecurity teams to ensure end-to-end solution integrity
- Provide technical support for system deployment, operations, and maintenance
Other
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
- 7 years' experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or related field) or 12 years' experience without a degree
