The Credit Union is looking to modernize its technology platforms and needs support in designing, implementing, and administering enterprise infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments to ensure stable, secure, and efficient operations.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server (2016-2022), including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Experience with Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Entra Connect for hybrid identity management
- Experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization platforms
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and RDS
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability using Datadog
- Experience with backup platforms including Rubrik and AWS native backup tools (e.g., AWS Backup, EBS/RDS Snapshots)
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Windows Server environments (2016-2022), including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Manage Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune endpoint management.
- Maintain Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Entra Connect to support secure hybrid identity and authentication management.
- Provision and manage AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, and VPCs, following best practices for cost, security, and resilience.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and PowerShell scripting.
- Administer VMware and/or Hyper-V environments, ensuring effective capacity planning, resource optimization, and snapshot management.
- Use Datadog to monitor system and application performance, configure dashboards and alerts, and conduct performance tuning.
Other
- Minimum of five years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or cloud operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Participates in a rotating on-call schedule to provide critical system support outside of regular business hours.
- Supports a hybrid work environment, with the flexibility to work remotely or on-site as operational needs and system coverage require.
- Must be able to respond promptly to urgent infrastructure issues that may arise during non-standard hours.
