SNC is looking to solve the problem of designing, building, expanding, and maintaining a secure and scalable development platform and program operations platform that serves the needs of multidisciplinary engineers for programs across their business area, specifically in the ISR, Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area.
Requirements
- Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Experience with Windows or Linux environment system administration
- Experience with virtualized and containerized environment architecture, setup, administration and deployment
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and deployment, automation, and monitoring
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Understanding of security principles and protocols, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and vulnerability management
Responsibilities
- Designing, building, expanding, and maintaining a secure and scalable development platform and program operations platform
- Working in an agile, collaborative environment with other members of the engineering teams
- Deploying applications in a production environment
- Implementing and maintaining compliance controls
- Identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities and threats
- Setting up active directory and domain controllers and group policy management
- Managing Kubernetes clusters using tools such as Rancher, OpenShift, or EKS
Other
- Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
- U.S. Citizenship status is required
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
