The Systems Engineer position will work within a software engineering team to maintain, modernize, and develop new software applications. These systems include complex manufacturing data collection and reporting solutions and an integrated suite of people management software.
Requirements
- ASP.Net 7 / Core framework
- Entity Framework Core
- MVC pattern
- Creating and consuming web APIs
- C-Sharp, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, T-SQL
- SQL, including data/database migrations and complex queries against large tables
- Git (Gitlab)
Responsibilities
- Developing new code features including applications, reports, scripts, and databases.
- Supporting existing features – with a heavy emphasis on refactoring for reliability and maintenance reductions.
- Work directly with business users to design and implement technical solutions and optimizations.
- applying best practices – including git, CI/CD, and continuous learning – to solve complex business problems.
Other
- High-School education or GED, required
- BS/BA degree in CS or related field, preferred (Experience is considered as well.)
- Technical certifications are valued, but not required
- This is a fully onsite role.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment where constructive criticism is encouraged.
