General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is looking for a Systems Engineer II to join their Bothell, WA team to design, develop, test, debug, and implement software for computers and smart devices, ensuring system efficiency and supporting the mission of the warfighter.

Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements software that runs computers and technologies like smart devices, networking equipment, or machinery.
- Determines systems software design requirements.
- Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.
- Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures
- May participate in all aspects of software development, from detailed programming to high-level system design.
- Responsible for the overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support
- Designs, implements, installs, maintains, and administers infrastructures including hardware, software, and various configurations
Other
- Associate's Degree and 2-4 years experience in a relevant function
- Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering or other Engineering degree required
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
- Less than 25% travel likely
