Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a qualified college intern candidate to help create and evaluate system design concepts, architectures, and prototypes to meet customer requirements, define and develop system requirements and architecture, and support system integration and test to verify and validate system functionality.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of systems engineering principles, including system design and development as well as system integration and testing
- Familiarity with systems engineering methodologies, such as Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), System Engineering Life Cycle, etc.
- Familiarity with engineering design and development tools such as modeling and simulation software (MATLAB, Simulink, etc.), design and architecture tools (Solidworks, Creo, Visio, DOORS, Cameo, Rhapsody, etc.), and collaborative platforms (Git, Jira, etc.)
- Basic understanding of software development practices and previous software development experience
Responsibilities
- Create and evaluate system design concepts, architectures, and prototypes to meet customer requirements

Other
- Currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program in a relevant engineering discipline. Including systems, electrical, computer, mechanical or software engineering
